Role Description
As HSE Manager, you will lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives at a large-scale food production site. You will be responsible for shaping a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment, while managing a small team and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead HSE strategy and implementation across two factories
- Ensure compliance with SEVESO/ARIE and other regulatory requirements
- Promote a proactive safety culture and employee engagement
- Act as a liaison between plant leadership, government bodies, and staff
- Oversee both strategic planning and day-to-day HSE operations
- Drive continuous improvement in sustainability and environmental performance
Requirements
- Strong HSE background with senior-level experience in industrial/production settings
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (SEVESO/ARIE)
- Certification (IVK, HVK, or MoSHE) or willingness to obtain
- Fluent in Dutch
- Decisive, empathetic, and able to prioritize effectively
