Role Description
We are looking for a proactive OT Network & Access Control Engineer to strengthen our Operational Technology team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing, securing, and improving OT network infrastructure, with a strong focus on access management, network segmentation, and IT-OT integration. You’ll work closely with site engineers, central IT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure our factory environments are secure, stable, and future-proof.

Responsibilities

-Manage and optimize OT network infrastructure (e.g., switches, firewalls, VLANs, DMZs).

-Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) within OT environments.

-Design and maintain OT/IT network segmentation.

-Manage OT-related hardware (e.g., routers, badge readers, PLCs, SCADA).

-Document OT network architectures and configurations.

-Support OT security initiatives such as Privileged Access Management (PAM).

-Act as technical liaison during audits and incidents.

Requirements
Must-Haves (Core Competencies):

-3+ years experience in OT or combined IT/OT environments.

-Solid knowledg-ure and segmentation best practices.

-Strong grasp of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).

Nice-to-Haves (Secondary Skills):

-Deep understanding of the OSI model and multi-layer troubleshooting.

-Experience with PAM systems and designing/managing DMZs.

-Knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems.

-Experience with OT/IT hardware (e.g., HMIs, servers, switches).

-Familiarity with monitoring/security tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios).

Education & Certifications:

-MBO+/HBO in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or IT.

-CompTIA Network+,

-Cisco CCNA/CCNP,

-ISA/IEC 62443, or equivalent.
