Are you an organized and proactive professional with a passion for lab operations and equipment management? Our client, a global leader in animal health innovation, is seeking a R&D Lab Equipment Coordinator to support its state-of-the-art Biological R&D center located in Boxmeer.

You will become part of a dynamic Operations & Facility (O&F) team that plays a key role in enabling scientific progress. Within this team of 30 supportive professionals, you’ll be a crucial player in ensuring that more than 1800 pieces of lab equipment operate smoothly, reliably, and in compliance with internal and external standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and optimize the full lifecycle of lab equipment—acquisition, qualification, validation, periodic review, and decommissioning.

• Develop, review, and maintain procedures that govern equipment use and compliance across the R&D department.

• Act as a central point of contact for lab equipment queries and collaborate closely with Asset Specialists and scientific teams.

• Support researchers and technical users by guiding them through proper equipment lifecycle processes.

• Cooperate cross-functionally with QA, procurement, facility services, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and safety.

• Assist in maintaining validated equipment states, with occasional support to the GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) team.

What You Bring:

• Experience in a laboratory or technical support environment, preferably within R&D or life sciences.

• A structured, detail-oriented approach to documentation and process management.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

• Familiarity with equipment validation or asset lifecycle management is a plus.
