Role description
As an All-round Maintenance Technician, you’ll work within a 24/7 shift team to ensure the reliability and availability of all production and utility systems. You’ll handle both corrective and preventive maintenance activities, support root cause analyses, and proactively contribute to long-term equipment improvements. This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and GMP standards.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues within production and utility systems, setting clear priorities with the operations team
- Take a lead role in analyzing and resolving complex malfunctions, sharing expertise with team members and contractors
- Suggest improvements to enhance the performance and reliability of equipment
- Ensure safe execution of all work in accordance with compliance, safety, and GMP guidelines
- Collaborate within a tight-knit team, operating under a 5-week rotating shift cycle (3-4-3 schedule)
Requirements
- MBO level 4 (or equivalent) in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering or measurement/control technology
- Proven technical experience in a comparable role within an industrial environment
- Skilled in fault analysis and technical troubleshooting
- Strong focus on system uptime, risk prevention, and continuous improvement
- Valid category B driving license
- Dutch-speaking (fluency required)
- Currently living near Leiden, or open to relocation if requested in the future
- Able and willing to work 100% on-site in a rotating shift system (24/7)
