Role description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role within the Site Engineering department. You’ll be responsible for designing, managing, and executing electrical systems for complex pharmaceutical environments, with a focus on cleanrooms and containment areas. This role offers a blend of hands-on technical work and cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems for GMP and biosafety environments
• Prepare and assess quotations, technical documentation, and change orders
• Support drafting of user requirement specifications for electrical systems
• Independently manage mono-disciplinary engineering projects
• Ensure proper documentation and archiving throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate and manage contractors and engineering partners
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, standards, and internal guidelines
• Participating in multidisciplinary project discussions

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO/HBO+) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or food production projects
• VCA-VOL certification
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of cGMP, biosafety, and containment requirements
• Experience working in or with cleanrooms and technical installations
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written); English is a plus
• Organized, hands-on, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
