About The Client
Our client provides a wide range of consumer products, including dairy drinks, infant food, cheese, and desserts, across numerous European countries as well as in Asia and Africa. Additionally, they supply professional customers with cream and butter products for bakeries and catering companies. Furthermore, our client manufactures ingredients and semi-finished products for infant nutrition, the food industry, and the pharmaceutical sector globally.
About the Role
As an Allround Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert when technical issues arise. You’ll ensure that all maintenance work runs smoothly and safely, with a strong focus on electrical systems. From troubleshooting malfunctions to working on cutting-edge production lines, this is a hands-on role in a high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on various production equipment
- Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimize downtime
- Perform inspections, repairs, and revisions on electrical and mechanical systems
- Participate in improvement projects to increase equipment reliability
- Work with technologies like PLCs, frequency regulators, robotics, and cooling systems
- Ensure all work is documented in SAP and aligned with safety protocols (LOTO)
- Occasionally support during on-call (consignatiedienst) duties
Requirements
- MBO-level technical education, preferably in electrical or mechatronics
- 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a production environment
- Strong affinity with electrical systems (80% of the work is electrical)
- Willingness to work day shifts (4x9 hours/week) and participate in on-call rotation
- Reside within 30 minutes of Steenderen (for emergency response)
- Fluent in Dutch (or strong willingness to learn)

Potential to grow into a NEN 3140 Work Responsible Technician role
You’ll join a technical team of 8 allround technicians, supported by a maintenance engineer, OT-engineer, team lead, and manager.
