About the Role
As a Lab Automation Specialist, you’ll support the full lifecycle of laboratory systems and equipment at an international biotechnology leader. Working within the Lab Operations team, you’ll help manage the introduction and maintenance of lab equipment while improving automation and data integrity across analytical platforms. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that combines technical know-how with process improvement.
Responsibilities
Support the lifecycle management of lab equipment—from onboarding to decommissioning and documentation.
Assist with automation needs across lab systems and applications (e.g. Empower, Chromeleon, Unifi, ICE3).
Translate user requirements into technical specifications that meet data integrity standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to data acquisition and lab systems.
Collaborate with R&D and analytical development teams to support business continuity and innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
Affinity for lab software, data systems, or automation tools; database/visual reporting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with GMP quality systems and regulatory environments.
Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
Able to manage multiple priorities, think analytically, and solve problems proactively.
