The Role
This role involves managing lab equipment throughout its life cycle and supporting automation for lab systems. You’ll ensure equipment runs smoothly, meets quality standards, and help improve processes within a research-focused biotech environment. It’s a technical position combining equipment management and software support.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the full life cycle of lab equipment , from bringing in new equipment, to retiring old equipment, and keeping documentation updated.

• Support automation in lab systems and software, such as Empower, Chromeleon, Unifi, and ICE3.

• Work on data management quality, process improvements, and implementation of new technologies, ensuring everything complies with Data Integrity standards.

• Assist with New Product Introductions (NPI) and handle urgent problems creatively.

• Be part of the Lab Operation ELM team focusing on equipment and automation support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Computer Science.

• Experience or interest in lab data systems and databases (experience with visual reporting is a plus).

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality systems.

• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

• You can plan well, prioritize tasks, think analytically, and solve technical problems.
