Role description
We are looking for an Assistant Global Procurement Manager to join the Global Naturals Procurement team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of global procurement strategies for animal proteins (Eggs, Meat, and Seafood).  This position reports to the Global Procurement Manager – Animal Proteins based in the Netherlands and collaborates with stakeholders across the globe

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of a global procurement strategy for Eggs, Meat, and Seafood
• Drive global cost savings, cash targets, and supply security initiatives
• Coordinate cage-free egg and animal welfare chicken strategies across regions
• Monitor and forecast market trends to support pricing and supply decisions
• Manage supplier tenders and negotiate contracts to ensure value and compliance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers
• Contribute to innovation and category plans for animal proteins
• Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, Finance, Sustainability, and Communications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business, or related field
• Experience in procurement and supply chain operations, preferably within FMCG
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Analytical mindset and understanding of value chains
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple global stakeholders and projects
