The Role
On this role you will play a key role within the global procurement function, specifically focusing on sourcing and managing animal-based ingredients such as eggs, meat, and seafood. This role supports the development and execution of a global procurement strategy that ensures secure, cost-effective, and sustainable sourcing of these ingredients.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for eggs, meat, and seafood to meet cost, quality, and sustainability targets.

  • Drive savings initiatives through negotiations, supplier management, and value chain optimization.

  • Lead supply security and crisis management, including contingency planning and alternative sourcing.

  • Support sustainability goals, such as cage-free egg adoption and high-welfare chicken sourcing in key markets.

  • Manage supplier relationships, lead tenders, and oversee contract negotiations.

  • Monitor market trends and cost drivers to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

  • Collaborate with global and regional teams, including R&D, Finance, and Sustainability, to align procurement with business goals.

  • Ensure compliance and performance of the supply base, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements 
 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with solid experience in Procurement and Supply Chain, preferably in animal proteins.

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills, plus understanding of value chains and market dynamics.

  • Proven ability to manage global suppliers and collaborate across multicultural, cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in SAP and business systems, with skills in market analysis and forecasting.

  • Excellent English communication, a proactive mindset, passion for sustainability, and ability to handle multiple projects.
