Our client is dairy cooperative with international presence, formed by dairy farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The company has a large product range including milk, yoghurts, baby and infant nutrition, cheese, butter and several locations in the Netherlands.
Role Description
As a Supply Network Planner for our cream portfolio, you will play a crucial role in aligning supply with demand. You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day planning while contributing to long-term business goals. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges, working across teams, and making data-driven decisions that support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee short- and mid-term planning activities for the products, balancing product availability, cost, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate closely with forecasting, production, and logistics teams to ensure demand and supply are aligned.
- Contribute to planning cycles and help prepare inputs for strategic decision-making, including investment and capacity plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lead supply-related projects aligned with business priorities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for coordination between commercial and operational teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in supply chain or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (such as APICS) are a plus if the degree is in another discipline.
- Experience with supply chain planning systems (preferably SAP APO or similar tools).
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix environments.
- Familiarity with integrated planning processes like S&OP and capacity planning.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Ability to manage change and build trusted relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
