Role Description
Designing long-term solutions for the maintenance of E&I equipment in a chemical plant environment is where your passion lies. You have an eye for preventive measures, high-quality, and sustainable solutions, and enjoy contributing to projects that improve and future-proof the factories.

Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance & Optimization

  • Establish & implement a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program based on a Long Range Plan (LRP) in SAP.
  • Monitor program execution & optimize PM strategies to reduce maintenance costs.
Asset Strategy & Equipment Reliability
  • Develop long-range & obsolescence plans for E&I equipment.
  • Identify critical equipment vulnerabilities & create mitigation plans.
Maintenance Standards & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Engineering Guidelines, Standards, and regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work in a team of 15+ maintenance/reliability engineers (static, rotating, E&I&A).
  • Report to the Maintenance & Reliability Engineer Lead.
Requirements
  • Analytical – Detect & solve recurring failures with long-term, cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborative – Work well across teams with strong communication skills
  • 7+ years in E&I installations (petrochemical industry).
  • Technical HBO degree or equivalent experience in E&I engineering.
Technical Skills
Expertise in PM plan creation & optimization for E&I systems.
Knowledge of:
  • Low-voltage installations.
  • Protection systems (IEC 61511).
  • ATEX zone design & maintenance.
  • E&I equipment & installations
  • ??Familiarity with industry standards (local & international).
  • Understanding of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) (preferred).
Systems Proficiency
  • SAP, Microsoft Office, Power BI.
Basic competence in:
  • Predictive Maintenance & Condition Monitoring.
  • Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
  • RCM-based strategy development.
Leadership & Language
  • Ability to hold others accountable.
  • Comfortable in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in Dutch & English.
