The Role
As a Forecasting Analyst, you will play a key role in building robust volume demand forecasts that serve as the backbone of the supply chain and business planning process. Sitting at the intersection of data, business insight, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll be responsible for shaping forecast accuracy across categories in the Benelux region. Your work will directly impact product availability, operational efficiency, and the success of marketing and sales strategies.
 

Key Responsibilities
-Lead the development of full-term volume demand forecasts (base and promotional) across categories for the Benelux market on an 18-month rolling horizon, with a focus on the 2–6 month window.
-Translate insights from marketing, sales, and market dynamics into actionable volume forecasts that inform supply chain planning.
-Act as the volume forecast owner within the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, driving alignment and accuracy.
-Partner closely with Performance Managers, Supply Chain Specialists, Trade Category Managers, and Marketing to ensure seamless integration of forecasts with business strategies and product launches.
-Monitor and analyze forecast performance, continuously seeking opportunities to improve accuracy and relevance.
-Take initiative on automation and process improvement projects, from ideation to implementation—whether that means scripting, setting up dashboards, or collaborating with third-party consultants.
-Visualize data-driven insights through tools like Power BI or Google Data Studio, enabling better storytelling and decision-making.
 

Requirements
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
-Strong affinity with data, analytics, and digital tools; experience in scripting/programming is a plus.
-Prior experience in Supply Chain or Sales is helpful; FMCG experience is preferred.
-Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
-Comfortable with databases and interested in emerging tech like machine learning or AI.
-Strong analytical mindset paired with practical business thinking.
-Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
