Role Description
The MQO Specialist is responsible for ensuring and improving product quality across the commercial supply chain, from warehouse to shelf. The role focuses on complaint handling, compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with internal and external partners in the Benelux market.

Responsibilities
-First Point of Contact for local Customer Development (CD) and Customer Operations (CO) teams regarding customer quality issues.
-Manage and support critical consumer and customer complaints, including communication, follow-up, and action planning (in collaboration with Supply Units and Business Units).
-Ensure compliance with Unilever Quality Management Standards at warehouses through KPI monitoring, non-conformance management, and capability support (mainly for BG-led markets).
-Participate in and lead (when required) incident and crisis management, including market actions as per internal protocols (IMT).
-Drive quality improvement programs within the Benelux organization from a Market Quality Operations (MQO) perspective.
-Analyze quality data and generate performance reports based on KPIs.
-Monitor and manage quality-blocked stock, including ensuring correct provisioning and reducing defect levels.
-Conduct or support audits and certifications relevant to market and business needs.
-Train internal teams and service providers (e.g., careline, consultants) on quality processes.
-Lead on-shelf product assessments to ensure brand superiority at the point of sale.
-Execute digital quality processes and platforms within MQO.
-Promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization, encouraging ownership and accountability.
-Engage in the European Quality Network, contributing to workstreams and aligning local efforts with global programs.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or Microbiology
-Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG (Quality, R&D, or Manufacturing)
-Preferred 5+ years in a quality-related role
-Experience in risk and change management
-Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
