Role Description
As an Automation Engineer (BMS/EMS ) you possess deep expertise in Build Management system (BMS) /Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) systems (Honeywell-based) to strengthen the Execution Systems team. You’ll help design, implement, and maintain critical automation infrastructure in a GxP-regulated environment, contributing to capital projects and system migrations on-site.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, install, and support BMS/EMS systems in compliance with GxP and cGMP standards
• Lead automation changes and interface with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Draft and review validation protocols, SOPs, and technical documentation
• Ensure safety, reliability, and ongoing system compliance
Requirements
• Technical degree (HBO+) in Industrial Automation or similar
• 3–5 years in biotech/pharma BMS (Honeywell experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAMP, PLC (HC900), EBI R600, and industrial automation
• VCA and NEN 3140 certified
Bonus Points (Advantageous)
• Experience with Priva, project leadership, or FPX methodology
• PMP or similar project management training
