Our client is a leading research and innovation center based in Utrecht Science Park, the Netherlands, specializing in advanced nutritional solutions. Focused on supporting vulnerable populations including infants, the elderly, and patients with specific health needs they combine cutting edge science and technology to develop safe, effective, and clinically substantiated nutrition products.
Role Summary:
You’ll lead and support liquid process technology implementation across innovation, renovation, and operational projects within the European supply network. You’ll work closely with factories, R&I, and quality teams to ensure optimized, safe, and cost-effective processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive process improvements for liquid technologies (e.g. heat treatment, emulsification, deaeration)
- Support innovation, transformation, and capacity projects
- Implement new products and technologies in supply points
- Conduct trials (lab, pilot, factory) and ensure technical documentation
- Act as the bridge between R&I and Operations
- Provide factory support and troubleshooting processing issues
- Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance
Requirements:
- Expertise in liquid processing (spray drying, blending, fermentation is a plus)
- Strong project & stakeholder management skills
- Experience in food/pharma manufacturing preferred
- Ability to manage trials and technical documents
- Understanding of food safety and regulatory standards
