Role Description
As the Process Development Manager – Liquid Nutrition, you will play a key role in defining how liquid process expertise contributes to various projects and in coordinating internal efforts to deliver essential process solutions. The Process Application Technology (PAT) team is part of the Global SN R&I team, whose mission is to ensure the smooth and optimized implementation of process solutions in close collaboration with factories, delivering superior product characteristics for our consumers
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and optimize liquid process technologies, including dissolving, deaeration, heat treatment, emulsification, and more.
- Lead and manage projects related to innovations, productivity, compliance, capacity, transfer, efficiency, and outsourcing.
- Collaborate closely with product developers, factories, global operations, and the quality department to deliver superior process solutions.
- Ensure safe and compliant product manufacturing by maintaining strong cooperation with Quality & Food Safety teams.
- Support the implementation of new products across various supply points worldwide, ensuring smooth transfer and process optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in process technology, preferably within the food or nutrition industry.
- Proven expertise in liquid processing technology (mandatory).
- Experience with spray drying, dry blending, or fermentation (a plus).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver complex process solutions.
