Role Description
As a Packaging Engineer, you’ll work with the Packaging Engineering team to support global supply, new product launches, and acquisitions. You’ll develop and improve packaging materials, processes, and equipment for pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present new packaging ideas and designs
- Select and evaluate packaging materials
- Solve material-related issues and write test protocols/reports
- Write technical specs and ensure documentation is up to date
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.)
Requirements
- Master’s + 3 years OR Bachelor’s + 5 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Packaging or Engineering
- 5+ years of packaging experience (3+ in Pharma/Biotech)
- Knowledge of packaging materials (polymers, adhesives, etc.)
- Experience with sustainable packaging is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Comfortable with hands-on work in production environment .
