Role Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the continuity and reliability of production equipment in a dynamic technical environment. You will identify and resolve technical issues in the areas of mechanics, electrical systems, and industrial automation. Working closely with the Senior Maintenance Technician, you will also proactively contribute to improvements and optimization of maintenance processes. You report directly to the Lead Maintenance & Reliability.
Responsibilities
- Performing and coordinating preventive, corrective, and inspection-based maintenance across all departments.
- Carrying out technical adjustments and modifications in accordance with CCP procedures.
- Advising the Maintenance Engineer on maintenance strategies, replacements, and improvement opportunities.
- Providing support for technical projects within the organization.
- Overseeing and coordinating the work of external contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
- Participating in the on-call duty rotation for breakdowns.
- Following GMP and SHE regulations, including accurate logging and use of maintenance management systems.
Requirements
- Completed MBO level 4 education, preferably in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Control Technology.
- Certified in VCA and NEN3140.
- Several years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Continuous focus on identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Strong awareness of quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Flexible attitude with a service- and customer-oriented mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Willingness to work in shifts (early/late and weekend shifts).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a solution-focused approach.
