HR Support Specialist, Breda, Noord-Brabant

The Company 
Our client is a biotech and pharmaceutical organisation, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands. In this site, they are responsible for the packaging of drugs and the distribution of them across the whole EMEA region. 

Role Description
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will support and coordinate key HR processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with local regulations. You'll act as a link between internal teams, external partners, and employees, helping to maintain efficient and effective HR services.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily HR administration, including contracts, changes in employment, compensation, and leave requests
• Manage HR data and transactions in Workday accurately and efficiently
• Serve as a key liaison between the HR team, Payroll, HR Connect, and external providers (e.g., UWV, SVB, health services)
• Ensure compliance with Dutch labor law and internal HR policies
• Maintain accurate employee records and support illness and absence management
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and mobility processes
• Support employee relations, including disciplinaries and grievances when needed
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives
• Provide timely, service-oriented support to employees and managers

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in HR administration, preferably in a multinational or matrixed organization
• Working knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR compliance standards
• Strong communication skills in English but good understanding of Dutch is highly preferred
• Service-minded, solution-oriented, and confident in interacting with employees and stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in Workday (preferred) and experienced with Office 365 applications
