Role Description
As a Quality Control Team Lead, you're responsible for a hands-on team leader to manage a lab team at our Beilen production site. You’ll oversee daily lab operations (microbiology or physical-chemical), ensure compliance with ISO17025, and drive quality and efficiency in collaboration with QA, Production, and Tech teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily operations within the lab team (approx. 15 analysts)
- Ensure all work complies with applicable regulations and internal standards
- Act as the point of contact between the lab and other departments (QA, Production, Technology)
- Contribute to the Quality Control annual plan and ongoing improvement initiatives
- Maintain a high standard of safety and quality during peak and off-peak workloads
- Support staff development and team performance in a high-paced environment
Requirements
- HBO level, background in analytical chemistry
- Lab & team leadership experience
- Knowledge of ISO17025 and dairy (milk powder) processes
- Fluent in Dutch
- SAP knowledge is a plus
