Our client is dairy cooperative with international presence, formed by dairy farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The company has a large product range including milk, yoghurts, baby and infant nutrition, cheese, butter and several locations in the Netherlands.
Role Description
As a Quality Project Manager you will lead the critical audit projects. In this role you will focus on ensuring that the site meets Chinese regulatory compliance standards, a must for maintaining the license to export to China. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive process and behavioral improvements, and be responsible for bringing the site to a fully audit-ready state.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the project to ensure full compliance with Chinese SAMR regulations.
- Motivate and coordinate multiple teams handling quality systems, investments, and behavioral training.
- Collaborate across departments including quality, production, technology, procurement, and HR.
- Align with stakeholders on progress and risk mitigation.
- Champion quality awareness and implement sustainable compliance improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in quality assurance or the food industry.
- Academic-level thinking with a background in project management, food technology, or engineering.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Able to navigate complex, multidisciplinary environments and drive people-focused change.
- Affinity with regulatory compliance is a strong advantage.
