Role Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead critical capital projects at their Amsterdam manufacturing site. This is a high-impact role that combines technical execution, cross-functional leadership, and strategic alignment to deliver best-in-class biopharmaceutical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities

Lead the full project lifecycle for equipment, utility, and facility CapEx initiatives.

Perform feasibility assessments and present well-supported technical proposals.

Develop project plans and direct cross-functional teams through execution phases.

Oversee on-site construction and ensure alignment with technical specifications.

Collaborate across departments to build investment cases for new initiatives.

Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

5+ years of project management experience in pharma, biotech, or a regulated industry.

Familiarity with cGMP environments and validation frameworks such as GAMP or ASTM E2500.

Strong command of project management tools, including Microsoft Project.

Certification in PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 preferred.

Effective communicator and leader with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
