The Role

As an All-round Maintenance Technician at our client's state-of-the-art pharmaceutical production facility in Leiden, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of production and utility systems in a 24/7 shift regime. Your technical expertise directly supports the smooth production of life-changing, custom-made medicines. This is a hands-on, 100% on-site role within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in production and utility systems, prioritizing tasks in coordination with operations.

• Analyze complex technical issues and proactively share insights with colleagues and contractors.

• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety, GMP, and compliance standards during all maintenance activities.

• Collaborate within a fixed shift team (3-4-3 rotation), consisting of 4–5 colleagues including utility operators and fellow technicians.

Requirements

• MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Measurement and Control Technology.

• Proven experience in a technical role within an industrial environment.

• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving malfunctions quickly and effectively.

• Strong focus on equipment uptime, safety, and risk reduction.

• Fluent in Dutch and willing to work on-site in Leiden Open to working in a 24/7 rotating shift system.
