Supply Network Planner – Dairy Ingredients

The Role
Our client, a leading global player in the dairy industry, is looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Network Planner – Dairy Ingredients to join their S&OP team in Amersfoort. With a critical focus on whey allocation and valorisation planning across a complex, international supply network.
As planner, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing both short- and long-term whey allocation plans—ensuring the best possible balance between supply, demand, service level, and financial return.
Key Responsibilities
--Develop and maintain short- to mid-term whey supply plans (1–18 months), aligning supply and demand across internal and external production sites
-Monitor, update and improve whey valorisation insights (€/kg), incorporating costs, revenues, and recipes
-Lead the monthly Whey Valorisation Board and own the related financial model
-Support strategic whey allocation planning (10-year outlook), contributing to business-wide supply planning models
-Analyze bottlenecks and develop scenario plans to support financial and operational decision-making
-Ensure alignment with Cheese SC, Dairy SC, and external stakeholders on whey flows and supply plans
-Lead or participate in projects focused on supply chain optimization, new product introductions, and planning system improvements
What We’re Looking For
-Master’s degree (WO level) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or similar
-4–6 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or S&OP functions
-Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
-Fluent in Dutch and English
-Experience with advanced planning tools such as OMP (preferred), SAP (R/3, APO), and BI systems
-Commercially minded, action-oriented, and confident making decisions with limited data
-Energetic and engaging personality with a drive for collaboration and continuous improvement
