The Role
This role focuses on managing and improving how the business sources materials or services across Europe. It involves making informed, cost-effective purchasing decisions by analyzing market trends, developing strong supplier partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities

Provide accurate price forecasts and market insights for CM Europe.

Deliver cost savings and value through negotiations, tenders, and portfolio analysis.

Prepare and execute negotiation strategies with Category SC teams.

Lead CM workstreams in supply chain optimization projects.

Support financial targets like gross margin and cash flow improvement using smart buying tools.

Manage supplier relationships as the first point of contact.

Scout and assess new suppliers aligned with strategy and innovation goals.

Act as procurement lead in innovation projects.

Contribute to team goals by leading shared initiatives.

Build supplier partnerships and ensure compliance with audits and contracts.

Support sustainability initiatives.

Develop contingency plans to secure supply.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements

Strong experience in category management, procurement, and supply chain optimization.
