Role Description:
As a Senior Construction Supervisor, you will lead and oversee on-site construction activities for engineering projects while also acting as a technical safety expert. Your dual focus will be on ensuring safe execution and driving continuous improvement of safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and teams on site.
• Ensure timely implementation of safety protocols, permits, and construction plans.
• Act as subject matter expert on safety systems (e.g., LOTOTO, hoisting, working at heights).
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and lead incident investigations.
• Provide coaching and training to enhance safety awareness within the EVM team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain safety and project quality.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of safety standards and compliance systems (e.g., ISO 14001).

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction supervision or civil engineering.
• Proven knowledge of technical safety systems and work permit processes.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• MVK (Secondary Safety Expert) certification or similar is preferred.
