The Role
This position plays a critical role in aligning market demand with supply capabilities across global networks. The Global Inventory & Planning Specialist will oversee planning activities from strategic forecasts to execution-level priorities for both commercialized and newly launched products. This role offers a dynamic environment where end-to-end visibility, scenario planning, and collaboration across global teams are essential for success.

Responsibilities
-Lead comprehensive supply planning activities across the global network, leveraging advanced tools such as Kinaxis and dVSM.
-Confirm and distribute accurate net demand forecasts throughout the supply chain to ensure seamless alignment.
-Maintain equilibrium between supply and demand within both the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) timelines.
-Facilitate deployment planning efforts and coordinate closely with external manufacturing partners.
-Address and escalate exceptions in product replenishment, prioritization, and deployment to ensure uninterrupted flow of goods.
-Monitor safety stock levels and inventory targets, ensuring optimal product availability and supply resilience.
-Collaborate across departments to model supply chain risk scenarios and implement proactive mitigation plans.
-Handle distribution requirement planning and assist in prioritizing production in time-sensitive or crisis scenarios.
-Drive inventory optimization efforts by maintaining effective planning parameters within Kinaxis.
-Guarantee accuracy of master data and ensure consistency with overarching strategic segmentation frameworks.
-Play a key role in monthly IBP cycles and global supply reviews by tracking performance indicators and initiating corrective actions.
-Support long-term strategic and financial planning by delivering data insights and maintaining up-to-date planning systems.

Requirements
-Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain roles, ideally in a regulated setting.
-Over 3 years of experience in data-driven planning with a strong track record of presenting insights to leadership.
-Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
-Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
-Solid understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE).
-Skilled in supply and demand planning processes.
-Direct experience supporting new product launches and scale-up phases.
-Comfortable working with tools such as Kinaxis, SAP, dVSM, and Plai.
