Role Description
We are seeking a Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing engineering projects in the petrochemical industry, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will contribute to project execution, process control, and technical reporting while supporting the team with technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Execute projects in accordance with the Project Management process.
- Ensure compliance with corporate Engineering standards.
- Participate in Technical Knowledge Management (TKM) processes.
- Review of Management of Change (MOC) requests.
- Generate and manage technical reports.
- Maintain close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- HBO (Bachelor's degree) in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I).
- 5+ years of experience in the petrochemical industry, preferably on site experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project execution.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Requirement
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (e.g., SIS).
- TÜV Functional Safety Engineer certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of ATEX and ability to put in to practice.
- Ability to design electrical systems (distribution and drives).
- Proactive and structured working style.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, analyzers, and PLCs.
- Effective communication at multiple levels within the organization.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Solid technical writing skills (reporting and documentation).
- Willingness to be available outside standard working hours when needed.
- Familiarity with gated project execution processes.
- Proficiency in Documentum, Intools.
