The Role 
This role involves designing, implementing, testing, and integrating machine control software for customized test and industrial production equipment in the healthcare domain. You will  will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, align software concepts with different engineering disciplines, and provide technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the preparation of software functional specifications and developing technical content for customized test systems.
  • Aligning software concepts with other disciplines like system architects, electrical and mechanical design, vision, and commissioning.
  • Designing, coding, documenting, testing, maintaining, and deploying complex machine control software.
  • Programming and implementing machine control software based on the SW architecture and economic considerations.
  • Developing and aligning software standards, security concepts, and control panels.
  • Planning software commissioning and maintenance services.
  • Identifying and resolving software design flaws during integration and equipment life cycle.
  • Performing software integration and commissioning activities.
  • Continuously improving the software development cycle.
  • Providing third-line software maintenance support.
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Tytrol software, machine control software (e.g., Cordis Suite and PLC Beckhoff), and model-based software development (e.g., UML).
  • Knowledge of Labview and C# (recommended) and a willingness to learn custom machine control platforms.
  • Familiarity with medical industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong technical skills, proficiency in English, and willingness to travel up to 25% and work at customer locations.
