The Role
As a Supply Chain Operations and Returns Specialist you will manage product returns, tracks shipments, and handles distribution complaints in the EMEA region. They ensure compliance with SOX and GDP regulations, support process improvements, and assist with audits. The role requires collaboration with third-party partners and reporting, while maintaining regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and coordinating product returns and recalls.
  • Logging, investigating, and following up on low-risk distribution complaints.
  • Tracking and tracing shipments under the Global Distribution Hub.
  • Analyzing alerts from the National Medicines Verification Organization (NMVO) and managing EU FMD Alert trend reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX, GDP, and other regulatory standards.
  • Supporting continuous process improvements and participating in audits.
  • Representing the team in stakeholder management meetings.
  • Supporting departmental and global goals and initiatives.
Requirements 
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of supply chain experience in GMP/GDP-regulated industries, preferably in biotech/pharma, with knowledge of order-to-invoice processes and international trade.

  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse, international teams while managing logistics-related issues efficiently.

  • Advanced communication skills (both written and spoken English), computer proficiency, and ERP experience, with a proactive, self-starter attitude to manage workloads and prioritize tasks.

  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and SOX regulations, with preferred experience in handling compliance in regulated environments; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

  • Experience in tracking, tracing, and logistics issue resolution, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
