Role Description
Manage and oversee Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, contractor safety, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an effective management system to prevent incidents and violations during contracted activities.
- Ensure all contracted activities comply with the Contractor Management program and requirements, including risk assessments and program compliance inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant EU and Dutch health and safety legislation.
- Promote continuous improvement through self-audits, monitoring objectives, reviewing results, and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Ensure site personnel receive effective safety training, updated as needed for program or business changes.
Requirement
- Proven experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).
- Proven experience in managing contractor safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- Minimum MVK qualification; HVK preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or high-tech manufacturing industries.
- Skilled in advising, coaching, mentoring, and counseling.
