Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Product Industrialization Engineer to support the industrialization of new products and design updates within a medical manufacturing environment. In this role, you will act as the key link between R&D and Manufacturing, ensuring smooth and efficient transfer of products from development into production.
The position has a strong focus on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), combining software engineering, hardware integration, process validation, and manufacturing engineering to develop stable, reliable, and scalable production solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve test systems, and support continuous innovation across production operations.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in product design and development reviews to ensure products are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, testing, and validation processes.
• Lead the industrialization of new products and design changes within the manufacturing environment.
• Develop, maintain, improve, and support Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used in assembly and production processes.
• Design and implement software solutions for industrial automated test systems using high-level programming languages such as LabVIEW.
• Define and document equipment, process, and manufacturing requirements based on product specifications, testing requirements, and factory standards.
• Coordinate the development, sourcing, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Perform technical risk assessments using methodologies such as pFMEA and support process improvement initiatives.
• Execute process and equipment validation activities including IQ, OQ, PQ, pilot runs, and Process Performance Qualification (PPQ).
• Support production ramp-up activities and troubleshoot technical issues related to manufacturing processes and test systems.
• Manage manufacturing BOMs, routing master data, and implementation of PDLM-driven engineering changes.
• Contribute to the development and standardization of next-generation ATE platforms and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Operations teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or a similar engineering role.
• Strong experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) development and industrial test systems.
• Hands-on experience in software design and programming for industrial automation or testing systems.
• Experience with high-level programming languages such as LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of process validation methodologies including pFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ, SPC, and DfMAT.
• Experience working within assembly or manufacturing production environments; medical device industry experience is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, self-driven, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week.
