Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Industrial Site) to support the day-to-day reliability of multiple production facilities. In this role, the technician will carry out mechanical maintenance, solve technical breakdowns, and work closely with experienced colleagues to ensure equipment remains available and safe to operate.
Responsibilities
- Install and assemble mechanical installations and components
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns and recurring issues
- Read and work from technical drawings and schematics
- Carry out repairs and mechanical tasks in line with site procedures and safety regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues (both junior and highly experienced) to complete maintenance work efficiently
- Maintain a strong focus on safe working practices at all times
Requirements
- Vocational education (approx. MBO level 2–3) in mechanical engineering, service engineering, automotive technology, or similar
- Understanding of installation and safety regulations
- Some relevant hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred
- Comfortable using MS Office (additional systems can be learned on the job)
- Service-minded, solution-oriented, and able to work well in a team
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
