Job Description
As a proactive and dedicated Environmental Consultant you will be responsible for managing environmental compliance at the site, supporting investment projects, and raising environmental awareness among employees. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives and ensure that the site meets all environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage environmental documentation, including permit applications, reports, and management reviews.
- Develop and execute audit plans, conduct environmental audits, and follow up on improvement actions.
- Monitor the site's environmental performance to ensure compliance with permit requirements, providing reports to management.
- Maintain and improve environmental management systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology and Operations teams to develop and implement projects that enhance environmental performance.
- Offer expert advice on environmental issues such as air, water, soil, noise, and waste, both proactively and upon request.
Requirements
- Degree in environmental science or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
