Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Work Planner to support maintenance operations at a busy production site. This role is focused on preparing, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance work so that activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production.

The Maintenance Work Planner will work closely with technicians, contractors, production teams, and internal stakeholders to define the work required, organize resources, and ensure that materials, permits, and schedules are in place. This is a strong fit for someone with experience in maintenance planning or work preparation within a technical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Define the scope of maintenance activities based on incoming work requests and operational priorities
- Prepare maintenance jobs by estimating labor, timing, materials, costs, and required procedures
- Ensure all safety-related preparations are in place before work begins, including required permits and documentation
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal technicians, external contractors, production teams, and other stakeholders
- Manage short-term and longer-term maintenance planning to support daily operations and scheduled work
- Monitor material availability and ensure required parts and services are arranged on time
- Track progress of work orders and adjust planning when priorities change
- Support maintenance shutdowns and larger planned activities through structured scheduling and coordination
- Review administrative follow-up such as hours, parts usage, invoices, technical records, and supplier-related documentation
- Identify recurring work and contribute ideas to improve standardization, planning quality, and preventive maintenance activities

Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance planning, work preparation, or a similar technical coordination role
- Background in a manufacturing, process, or industrial environment
- Technical education or equivalent working and thinking level
- Good understanding of maintenance systems and planning methods
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Ultimo, TPM, or similar tools is an advantage
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proactive, analytical, and able to work well under pressure
- Good command of Dutch and English
