About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring that all packaging materials across a global portfolio comply with food contact material regulations. You will act as a senior subject matter expert, working closely with internal teams and customers to maintain compliance and support regulatory developments. The position combines hands on compliance execution with advisory and stakeholder management responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of all packaging materials with applicable food contact regulations
- Review and advise on packaging compliance documentation together with other compliance experts
- Monitor new and evolving regulations and align implementation activities accordingly
- Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders and external customers on food contact compliance
- Act as a key point of contact for compliance related questions
- Support global alignment on regulatory developments within packaging and food contact materials

Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Packaging, Food Science or a related field
- 8 years + of experience in food contact material compliance or regulation
- Strong knowledge of European harmonized and national food contact regulations
- Experience with international regulations such as FDA or China GB is a strong plus
- Background in dairy or food industry is preferred
- Solid understanding of packaging materials and compliance documentation
- Experience working with data management tools such as SAP PLM, PowerBI and Excel
- Fluent in English
