Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Systems Support Specialist to join our client’s Operations Technology team. In this role, you will provide essential support for IT applications within manufacturing, warehousing, and plant operations, ensuring system reliability and compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in IT within a regulated environment, with potential to take on more responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
-Assist in planning, monitoring, and reporting on system changes and updates.
-Investigate and report on system reliability issues, including conducting root cause analyses.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process and system improvements.
-Support the implementation of new technologies to enhance manufacturing and warehouse efficiency.
-Help maintain systems in a validated GxP state, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
-Support ITIL processes, including updates and management within the configuration management database (CMDB).
-Stay informed on industry trends and advancements to support operational needs.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or HBO level with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing IT/OT.
-Strong understanding of IT applications management, with knowledge of ITIL practices.
-Familiarity with systems in a regulated environment, including GxP, GDP, and packaging/distribution standards.
-Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting applications on Windows, Linux, and databases.
-Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
-Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
