Role description
The Senior FPGA Engineer is responsible for designing and developing FPGA-based solutions for advanced electronic systems. The role covers the full development lifecycle, from requirements definition to implementation, verification, and system integration. The position focuses on high-speed digital design and works closely with global engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop FPGA and system-on-chip solutions based on product requirements.
  • Participate in system architecture definition, implementation, testing, and release.
  • Develop high-speed digital designs and interfaces.
  • Perform system-level debugging and functional simulations.
  • Ensure designs meet quality standards and participate in design and code reviews.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimations, and backlog management.
  • Communicate progress and technical status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international engineering teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5–10 years of experience in FPGA development.
  • Strong experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools and vendor platforms.
  • Experience with high-speed digital design and interfaces.
  • Strong debugging and simulation skills.
  • Experience working in high-tech or regulated industries.
  • Experience with version control and testing frameworks.
  • Ability to write technical specifications and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and international environment.
