Role description
The Clinical Study Manager is responsible for managing complex clinical studies from start-up to completion. The role ensures that studies are conducted according to regulatory requirements and international clinical research standards. The position works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure studies are executed efficiently and deliver reliable scientific data.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the operational management of clinical studies from study start-up to reporting.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including clinical research, data management, supplies, quality, and scientific teams.
  • Ensure studies are conducted according to clinical research guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage regulatory and ethics submissions and approvals.
  • Select and collaborate with external clinical partners such as contract research organizations, laboratories, and clinical sites.
  • Monitor study progress, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Identify and manage potential risks during study execution.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to improvements in clinical study processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience managing clinical studies, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations and international clinical practice guidelines.
  • Experience working with external clinical partners such as contract research organizations and research sites.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex studies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proactive and structured working style.
  • Excellent command of English.
