Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Process Improvement Engineer to join their Operations Excellence team in Breda. This hybrid role involves supporting and optimizing manufacturing and packaging processes through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing process efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting strategic projects aimed at scaling production capacity and introducing new products.
 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze process performance using various data sources to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor manufacturing and packaging lines, investigating deviations and assessing potential enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and lead projects that optimize shopfloor workflows and supporting processes.
  • Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Conduct scenario analyses for new product introductions and capacity expansion, providing data-supported recommendations.
  • Assist in developing business cases for long-term strategic projects related to process upgrades and new capabilities.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to shopfloor teams and support departments on process improvements and change management.
  • Support decision-making at senior levels by leveraging advanced data analysis and operational expertise.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or performance optimization within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries such as GMP and GDP.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in problem-solving tools like Six Sigma or Root Cause Analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
