Role Description
As a (Senior) Process Design Engineering – Project BOND (Beta Lactam Formulation Area), you will take technical ownership of the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of advanced manufacturing equipment. This includes Beta Lactam formulation vessels, a complex powder-handling isolator, downflow booths, and related auxiliary systems. Most design work is completed, but several engineering and automation integration challenges remain. You will guide these final stages toward successful installation and handover

Responsibilities
- Lead engineering design activities for complex equipment and facility elements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all equipment in the Beta Lactam Formulation Area.
- Collaborate closely with GES teams, end-user SMEs, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with engineering, design, and construction partners across Europe.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at vendor facilities.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification efforts as the technical owner of the area.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Bio)Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Food Technology.
- 5+ years of experience as a design engineer in capital projects within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Food, or High-Tech industries.
- Working knowledge of GMP guidelines and equipment integration in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent command of English.
