Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager for Operations to oversee the implementation of Microsoft Teams Phone systems across multiple locations. This role involves managing technical workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless deployment and adoption of new telephony infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
-Establish and maintain project governance routines, including steering meetings, progress reviews, and decision forums. Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for stakeholders.
-Develop and oversee the end-to-end project plan covering Teams Phone migrations, SBC implementations, SIP trunk design, hardware deployment, and network readiness.
-Identify and mitigate risks through proactive RAID log management, escalate issues promptly, and coordinate change management activities.
-Support technical design translation into actionable tasks, facilitate design reviews, and assist in creating technical documentation and runbooks.
-Coordinate with telecom and cloud service providers to ensure alignment on project milestones, testing, and cutover plans. Track vendor deliverables and support cost and prioritization discussions.
-Ensure business readiness by working with local teams on onboarding, device setup, communication plans, and user training. Support smooth transition and post-migration support.
Requirements
-3–7 years of experience managing IT infrastructure, cloud, or telecom projects.
-Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Voice, SBC concepts, SIP trunking, and cloud telephony architectures.
-Excellent communicator with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
-Proven experience working with vendors or managed service providers.
-Skilled in project planning, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.
