About the Role
This role centers on maintaining, optimizing, and improving downstream manufacturing processes within a dynamic operations environment. The Process Engineer will support ongoing production activities, lead process improvements, drive tech transfer activities, and ensure processes operate within validated and regulatory limits. The function blends hands-on process ownership with cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve production processes and operational methods.
- Lead and support implementation of new processes, systems, and NPI tech transfers.
- Ensure processes remain within validated, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to reduce downtime and losses.
- Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting for continuous improvement.
- Drive process improvements and participate in risk assessment and issue resolution.
- Lead Product Impact Assessments and Change Control activities.
- Conduct Gemba walks to spot improvement opportunities and ensure safe, compliant operations.
- Support Continuous Process Verification by providing insights and additional research.

Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong DSP operations and process engineering experience.
- Proven NPI and tech transfer experience.
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Dutch A2 and English C1 proficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Stress-resilient, proactive, structured, and capable of working independently and cross-functionally.

Hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite).
