QC Microbiology Analyst, Boxmeer, Noord-Brabant

Role Description
As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will perform microbiological testing, support test validations, contribute to troubleshooting activities, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards. You will work within a self?managing laboratory team, supporting both routine QC activities and microbiology?related projects.

Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological identifications and typing (MALDI?TOF, 16S PCR, FT?IR).
- Validate new microbiological tests and technologies.
- Conduct routine QC microbiology tests independently under GMP/GLP.
- Support problem?solving initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
- Maintain laboratory operations, documentation, equipment, and SOPs.
- Support audits, deviations, and change processes.

Requirements
- Completed MLO Microbiology education.
- 1–3 years experience in microbiological laboratory work.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP microbiology is preferred.
- Familiarity with MALDI?TOF and PCR identification systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Structured, proactive, and solution?oriented approach.

- Vaccinations required for certain tests.
- Work includes PPE use, handling biological agents, and repetitive lab tasks.
