About the Role
This role focuses on improving and safeguarding the QA Release process while managing major quality issues across the production environment. Acting as a key link between QA and operational departments, the specialist drives root cause analyses, implements preventive actions, and ensures the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Identify key issues using complex data sets and conduct detailed trend/gap analyses
- Develop improvement action plans and KPIs
- Create management reports and contribute to improvement initiatives
- Lead or support RCA and SAAB sessions
- Act as first point of contact for quality issues and support production meetings
- Serve as backup for the QA Release Coordinator
- Prepare proposals for deviating items and coach team members
- Draft reports including FTR, RTFT, and quality notifications
- Provide data-based quality advice to stakeholders
- Participate in audits and inform relevant teams
Requirements
- HBO in Food Technology or HLO
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in food or pharma; dairy experience is a plus
- Knowledge of baby food standards
- Strong background in product, process, quality, microbiology, allergens
- Experience with SAP-QM and Power BI
- Strong communication, analytical and collaborative skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
