Their plant in Veghel, Netherlands, is a critical production site with a strong focus on innovation, automation, and operational excellence to meet worldwide demands.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automated Systems Team Leader to oversee and transform the automation department at the Veghel site. This leadership role involves building a cohesive, high-performing team and ensuring the robustness and future readiness of the site's automation landscape.

Responsibilities
- Lead and re-structure a team of approximately 12 engineers, both internal and external, to optimize performance and clarity of roles.
- Define and assign responsibilities, implementing clear processes and a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and enhance the automation infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, and incident management, aligned with security standards.
- Ensure OT security, cybersecurity, and compliance, including adherence to data integrity requirements.
- Develop and execute the Site OT Roadmap, ensuring automation aligns with global policies and standards.
- Manage the OT budget, forecasting investments, and overseeing procurement.
- Collaborate closely with global OT teams and senior management to support strategic site goals and operational excellence.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in industrial automation or OT, ideally in food, dairy, or process industries.
- Proven ability to restructure and build engineering teams, with strong decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of OT systems and architecture (e.g., ISA standards, PCS7 preferred).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and maintenance systems (preferably SAP PM).
- Strong coaching, confrontation, and development skills.
- Experience in establishing clear roles and responsibilities within technical teams.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets and justify investments.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
