About the Role:
This role focuses on developing smart, sustainable packaging solutions across multiple materials and formats. You will lead packaging projects from concept to launch, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, performance, and consumer appeal. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external suppliers, contributing to innovation across global brands.
Responsibilities:
- Lead packaging development projects from concept to implementation across primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
- Design sustainable, cost-effective packaging solutions that meet consumer, business, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, supply chain, procurement, and external suppliers to deliver optimized packaging.
- Validate packaging performance, materials, and processes across different technologies and formats.
- Drive continuous improvement in packaging innovation, efficiency, and environmental impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience in packaging development, preferably within food or FMCG industries.
- Hands-on knowledge of packaging materials, processing technologies, and filling lines (aseptic is a plus).
- Proven ability to translate technical, sustainability, cost, and consumer needs into effective packaging solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
