About the Role
This position supports a quantitative and analytics-focused team within a scientific manufacturing environment. The Specialist will automate, improve, and streamline statistical and data analysis processes through tools, workflows, and applications. The role combines hands-on statistical work, solution building, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Apply statistical concepts to solve challenges related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Build RShiny mock-up applications and develop scalable analytics tools.
- Create analytical workflows using R, Python, Minitab, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to access and validate data.
- Translate user requirements into solution designs and actionable analytics plans.
- Partner with business teams to implement best practices and continuous improvements.
- Promote efficiency in data analysis through automation and AI-driven workflows.
- Support quantitative project work, such as simulations, predictive modelling, and root-cause analysis.

Requirements
- MSc in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, data science).
- Strong programming skills in R and experience building RShiny applications.
- Ability to clearly communicate statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Other Information
- Work approximately three days per week onsite; hybrid arrangements possible.
- Exposure to advanced statistics, data science, simulation, and automation technologies.
