Role Description
As a Global Specification Manager, you will ensure ingredient compliance for China-related projects by aligning with current GB standards and Chinese registration requirements. You will also manage change processes from development to commercialization, working closely with cross-functional global teams.

Responsibilities
- Review and validate ingredient documentation (specifications, GB agreements, CoC, CoA, supplier specs, and GB reports).
- Collect and assess ingredient data to support recipe design and compliance.
- Collaborate with suppliers, labs, regulatory, and cross-functional teams.
- Support audits by preparing and presenting compliance documentation aligned with Chinese regulations.
- Lead dual-sourcing initiatives to strengthen supply security.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement short- and long-term solutions.
- Use tools like Asana and Power BI to track projects and data.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality & Food Safety, Regulatory, Pharmaceuticals, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in ingredients, quality, or regulatory roles (China GB knowledge preferred).
- Experience in ingredient specification management is a plus.
- Good business understanding and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of Chinese GB regulations and GMP for food materials.
